Square One Inspection Service conducts arbitrations between homeowners & builders in the Greater Tampa Bay area of Florida.

Square-One Inspection Service has experience conducting dozens of builder’s warranty arbitrations under both Toll Brothers & Professional Warranty Service, we can help you and your attorney prepare your warranty claim for arbitration.Whether you are building a new home or renovating an existing home, things do not always go according to plan. Have negotiations between you and your builder bogged down to the point that you are considering filing a claim against your builder’s limited warranty program?  You should understand the design of the typical builder's limited warranty is weighted in favor of the builder.  Furthermore, claims made against the builder’s limited warranty always lead to arbitration where a professionally trained warranty representative will defend the builder against your claim.

Please do not go on this journey alone, know that even if you have a valid claim, most homeowners are unprepared to write up the claim within the stipulations and exclusions of the builder's limited warranty.  The first mistake most people make is not recognizing that to be successful the claim must be written against something that is actually covered under the builder’s limited warranty.  Everything hinges on filing a proper written claim, because during the arbitration phase nothing will be taken under consideration outside of the written claim filed with the warranty company.

Understand now most successful arbitrations end in compromise.  If you choose to go it alone the only way you will win your claim is to possess superior knowledge in all facets of the builder’s limited warranty program including
Florida building codes and residential construction performance guidelines.  These documents are the tools the builder’s warranty representative will employ to invalidate your claim.

It’s your home, money and time, once you start the process you will be given only one chance to present your claim, don’t be penny wise and dollar foolish.  Since 2005 the Certified Master Inspectors at Square-One Inspection Service have had experience conducting dozens of builder’s warranty arbitrations under both
Toll Brothers & Professional Warranty Service, we can help you and your attorney prepare your warranty claim for arbitration.

We are available both as an expert witness or consultant.
